As the lead Sports Anchor at CBS Sacramento, an owned and operated station of Paramount, I anchor and produce weekly newscasts and sports shows that cover local, regional, and national stories. I also shoot, edit, and produce dynamic and engaging stories as a multimedia journalist (MMJ) for day turns and long-form segments. Some of my recent achievements include producing and anchoring the No. 1 high school football show "Friday GAMEDAY" and the 30-minute award-winning "Sports Sunday" show in the market, as well as producing daily social media updates and opinions that attract and interact with followers. I have also won multiple awards for my sports stories and specials, such as the 2021 CBA Sportscaster of the year and the best Sports Story and Sports Special for three consecutive years. I have a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University, where I learned the fundamentals and best practices of journalism and mass communication. I am proficient in various software and tools, such as INews, Eduis, Velocity, and Inception. I am passionate about sports and storytelling, and I strive to deliver high-quality and impactful content that informs, entertains, and inspires the viewers.
