Claim your profileJacqueline Sarkissian was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California in December 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. While at USC, Jacqueline served as a Multimedia Journalist, Reporter, and Weather Anchor for Annenberg TV News, which is USC’s student-run live 6 p.m. newscast. Her work was also published on their award-winning website, ATVN.org. As a Weather Anchor, Jacqueline was responsible for producing her own segments of any topic during the semester. She chose to produce weekly music segments titled "Jammin’ with Jacqueline," which showcased up-and-coming artists who are pursuing a music career.At Annenberg TV News, Jacqueline was a one-woman band. She wrote, shot, and edited all her stories herself. While out in the field, she would tweet teases for her stories and for the web department to give viewers a look at what’s ahead for the live 6 p.m. newscast. Jacqueline worked as a day-of-air and live shot reporter as well.Jacqueline is also an entertainment news junkie and interned at Rumor Fix, which is located on the Paramount Studios lot. She wrote articles for the website and attended red carpet events. Some of the celebrities Jacqueline has interviewed include: Nick Cannon, Juicy J, the Game, and Audrina Patridge. Recently, Jacqueline was a Reporter for This Week in Torrance and Spotlight in Torrance on Torrance CitiCABLE 3.
