She oversaw the daily operation of the assignment desk and selected stories for the afternoon and evening newscasts. She also helped launch LNS Chicago, a service which was a consortium of NBC, CBS, WGN and Fox (led by NBC Chicago). At LNS, she acted as Deputy to the Managing Editor.Before NBC, she worked at Fox Chicago taking on numerous roles, including interim News Operations Manager and a writer. She also worked for NBC in the Bay Area while attending Stanford University and interned at the Today Show. She has earned 2 local Emmys, as well as a national Emmy for her journalism. She graduated from Stanford University Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in psychology. She is a quick decision maker who works well under heavy time pressure in a fast paced environment. She is an excellent multi-tasker who is highly organized. She has well developed Emotional IQ skills and exceptional ability to understand people and predict behavior.
