Editor-in-Chief @ Pew Pew Tactical
cookeville, tennessee, united states
I'm a journalist and editor with 15+ years of experience in publishing, spanning traditional print to digital media. I moved into online publishing in 2009 and haven’t looked back, embracing the fast-paced, evolving world of digital storytelling. Since 2014, I've merged my passion for firearms with my love of writing, creating content that informs, educates, and connects with both enthusiasts and professionals. As an NRA-certified instructor, gun hobbyist, and industry voice, I’ve contributed to major outlets like Pew Pew Tactical, Guns.com, RECOIL, NRA Shooting Sports, Concealed Carry Magazine, and ConcealedCarry.com. I’ve also edited Second Amendment-themed children’s books, including 27 Words: A Children’s Guide to the Second Amendment and Patriot Pride. Today, I serve as Editor-in-Chief at Pew Pew Tactical, where I lead day-to-day operations, content strategy, affiliate relationships, and business growth initiatives. I manage a supremely talented team, drive results through data and smart systems, and ensure our content stays true to our values: honest, hands-on, and reader-first. Specialties: Leadership, team development, content strategy, SEO copywriting, affiliate marketing. I’m passionate about delivering trusted information, empowering readers through education, and building communities around curiosity, capability, and respect.
