Goalhanger is the biggest independent podcast producer outside of the US. Our shows are downloaded more than 40m times a month worldwide. Our ambition is to become the world's leading creator of thoughtful long-form content. I've always loved listening to interesting people talking to each other. My career started at the BBC's talk radio station, 5 live. I rose through the ranks to become a senior journalist, before striking out alone to apply the skills I'd learned in the commercial world. After a few years learning business by creating audio content for brands and publishers, in 2020 I co-created The Rest Is History, a history podcast that covers everything from Julius Caesar to Watergate. Its success led to the creation of Goalhanger, specialising in original podcasts funded primarily through ad revenue. We now make 10+ podcasts, including 'The Rest Is...' series which spans Politics, Entertainment, Football, and Money. We work with the biggest talent in the space and create passionate communities around our shows, which have evolved beyond audio to live on digital video, on social media, in print and on TV.
