Imani Fleming

Graduate of the Harrington School of Communication and Media at the University of Rhode Island located in Kingston, Rhode Island. Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. She studied journalism for one semester at the University of Westminster in London, England. Imani is currently a Reporter at WMUR-TV (#7) in Manchester, New Hampshire. She has worked as a News Intern at WJAR NBC 10 in Providence, Rhode Island. She served as newscast editor, producer, anchor and reporter of URI’s weekly newscast. Imani is a proud alum of the Emma Bowen Foundation, a member of the National Association of Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and a member of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. She is passionate about informing the public on issues affecting vulnerable communities.
