Current Special Projects & Investigative Producer for FOX 17 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Major projects include producing and coordinating all coverage for the 2022 Midterm Election, the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, and the 2024 Presidential Election. I've also produced two weather specials including the Emmy-nominated special "Water to Weather: The Great Lake Effect," and several other specials featuring stories from our station initiatives "A Path Forward" and "Pay it Forward." Former full time news producer for NewsChannel9 in Chattanooga where I produced every show from mornings to days to nights, as well as co-produced an hour long Town Hall called “Changing Chattanooga.”Former Community Manager at Better Sax, where saxophonist Jay Metcalf teaches and creates online lessons to learn to play the saxophone by ear. Responsible for managing all communication and social media platforms for Better Sax. Michigan State Graduate with a degree in Media and Information, a concentration in Film and Video Production, and minors in Fiction Filmmaking and Music.
