Claim your profileI am a former journalist, magazine editor, and digital media executive. In 2018 I founded FW (Future Women) and in 2021 Future Women Jobs Academy. I began my career in Adelaide and the Canberra press gallery. I spent 15 years at News Corp before being appointed Editor-in-Chief of The Australian Women's Weekly in 2009. In 2015 I was named Editor of the Year at the Publish Awards and delivered the Andrew Olle lecture on journalism. In 2016 I launched Nine's digital lifestyle business Honey and in 2017 I was appointed Content Director of Nine Digital. Future Women is a joint venture with Nine. We have a team spread across Australia & NZ (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and Auckland) working remotely and flexibly. We are a tech platform offering training to men and women.We launched the Future Women Jobs Academy to help women back to work post the pandemic. Today we help thousands of women find work. We have also published two acclaimed books Untold Resilience (2020) & Work.Love.Body (2021). I am a passionate member of the NFP sector and I play a small part in helping the team behind the wildly successful daily podcast and newsletter - The Squiz & Squiz Kids. I can also be found in the podcast studio where I host the Future Women Leadership Series and Too Much by Future Women.
