Since 2014, I started my role as Foreign Exchange Analyst in the Global FX and Control department. This FX Analyst role is primarily investigating and modifying FX trades for the ongoing day to day Trading. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to FX transaction management , analyzing, reporting, reconciling and resolving accounting entries, and regular interactions with the global internal business partners and external fund managers. As a Foreign Exchange Analyst, I consistently deliver exceptional level of service, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills both as individual contributor and effective team player to achieve higher level of success of the global clients, internal partners and our team. I interact with Investment Manager, Fund Accountant, Portfolio Manager, Trade Processing Team, Global Client Management Office to explain the foreign currency regulation, restriction and the evidence needed to demonstrate into FX trades. I am also responsible for assigned trades database maintaining, developing, analyzing and FX trades spreadsheets uploading and escalate specific issues to leadership. In my previous role, I was a Mutual Fund Accountant in Fund Accounting Team. I am primarily responsible for all aspects of daily accounting. Responsibilities include: reviewed the income and expense accruals, monitoring capital markets and sector activities, reconciled cash positions daily and securities portfolio on a monthly basis to external sources, sourced securities data from Bloomberg and Reuters, ensured portfolios are within compliance to investment guidelines, reported daily reporting of net currency and cash exposure to portfolio managers. With my more than 15 year’s Global banking operation experience, I could proudly present myself that I can fast adapt to automate digital financial operations with an integrated finance, risk and compliance system to reduce risk and complexity, while driving accuracy and efficiency of the financial services.
