Claim your profileHelen is Head of Features for the ITV Lorraine programme and has enjoyed over 25 years in the television industry covering everything from the US elections to covid and from the latest fashion and beauty trends to travel and food. The mum of 3 created a Bafta nominated National breast cancer awareness campaign with Lorraine called ‘Change And Check’ whilst fighting her own aggressive diagnosis. The simple reminder sticker initiative which goes on shop/gym changing room mirrors has been supported by the likes of John Lewis, Asda, David Lloyd and Monsoon (to name a few). The lifesaving campaign has been discussed in Parliament, adopted by the police force nationwide and the Royal Mail even put it on their post marks during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Since launch in 2019, hundreds of women (and 1 man!) have said that ‘Change + Check’ saved their lives. Helen formed a Choir with some of the women she has helped and they reached number 1 TWICE in the Official Download Charts with their charity singles featuring Joss Stone and Marti Pellow. The choir recently were asked to perform in front of the King at Buckingham Palace. Now through treatment, outside of ITV, Helen spends her spare time raising awareness and offering support to fellow cancer thrivers via her instagram @TheTittyGritty and is thrilled to have launched her passion project The C List which she knows will help the cancer community hugely. Helen also works as a spokesperson for the cancer community and has appeared on Sky News and ITN sharing her views on the latest breast cancer news.
