Started as an intern and quickly rose up the ranks from writer, to producer, to a full time traffic anchor in 1994. She became a part of Eyewitness News in 2002 as the afternoon traffic reporter. Heather joined the WABC-TV morning team in January of 2013. Heather Graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Media. She has reported traffic on almost every radio station in the tri-state area and she also served as the fill in news anchor for six years on WPLJ-FM's morning show. She is a four time nominee and the 2001 recipient of the Achievement in Radio Award for Best Traffic Reporter. In 2012, Heather received The George Hammell Cook Distinguished Alumni Award from Cook College - Rutgers University. She completed her Masters Degree in Education in August, 2018 at Rutgers University. Heather has won four Emmy Awards through the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Heather was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ and continues to reside in the Garden State with her husband, their two children and their beloved assortment of family pets. She is very involved in numerous charities throughout the state of NJ. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling and staying active.
