As a Creative and Online Director, I've crafted captivating narratives for food, travel, and lifestyle shows, leaving an indelible mark on the industry. My journey has been enriched by leading post-production for iconic shows like Indian Idol, India's Got Talent, and X Factor India, where I showcased my ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual stories while leading a large team. Beyond the screen, I've been instrumental in developing original and adapted formats, from the thrill of reality TV to the allure of travel and the indulgence of food. My passion for storytelling, inherited from my father - a renowned Marathi writer and film historian - fuels my work, whether crafting engaging scripts or weaving magical tales for my 3-year-old daughter. I am passionate about great visual design and obsessed with typography and beautiful fonts. I happen to be the go-to guy in my office for resolving any technical glitch and cracking these nerdy problems gives me a high. A defining moment in my career was to launch a new lifestyle channel in a record-breaking 55 days amidst a global lockdown. It was a test of resilience and innovation, and I'm immensely proud of our team's achievement in securing the No. 1 position in the lifestyle genre within a week of launch. I led the project of India's first baking reality cooking competition (Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly Baker's Studio) for 2 seasons which went on to win 2 awards (Indian Telly Award - Best Reality, ET Brand Equity Shark Award) I'm a versatile professional with a strong foundation in direction, scriptwriting, video editing and research. My proficiency in tools like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, GenAI tools and Canva Pro empowers me to bring my creative vision to life. Let's create something extraordinary together.
