About

I am a passionate broadcast meteorologist with calm, informative, and engaging weather forecasts. I have experience covering severe, tropical, and winter weather both in-studio and in the field including solo severe weather coverage. Through my experience writing and producing stories for on-air and online, I am also a dynamic storyteller. I have built a strong connection with the community through active socials, school visits, participating in breast cancer awareness events, and more. I started my career with Nexstar Media Inc. in December of 2021 as a meteorologist/digital reporter with WKRG News 5 in Mobile, AL. I am part of a strong, five person weather team that pushes me to excel in every aspect of my everyday duties. From weathercasts to school visits to news stories, I have had a wealth of experience in educating, informing, and entertaining viewers from rural Alabama to downtown Pensacola, Florida. I have also worked extensively with my Chief Meteorologist Ed Bloodsworth to learn how to create a healthy relationship between the news and sales departments and the weather team, create strong on-air and digital content, and other important duties. I love what I do, and I am optimistic about the opportunities that lie ahead for me to continue to make a difference in the community.
