I am a multi-award winning producer and communication strategist with extensive experience building international projects focusing on women and youth development. As creator and senior producer of Dars, the BBC education series for Afghan children including girls aged 11-16 barred from secondary school, I manage the strategy for this impactful and creative project. I have years of experience at the BBC World Service, producing the award-winning 100 Women project and BBC My World, a global youth news programme. I have also acted as Chair of BBC Next Generation Committee, shaping the organisation's strategy.
