I graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's in journalism and a minor in creative writing from Brigham Young University. I most recently worked as a crime reporter for KSL, covering courts, police, military and community issues in Northern Utah. Working in journalism allows me to pursue my passion of informing communities, amplifying voices and bringing people together through stories. I am the author of One Breath at a Time: Lessons on Grief and Growth and have also been published in the Las Vegas Sun, the Palouse Review, the Daily Universe, and various magazines, film blogs and other content sites.
