I’m Freya Emery, an Illustrative Designer helping small businesses, not-for-profits, and a little bit of everyone bring their creative visions to life through expressive and intentional design. Originally from the inland temperate rainforest of British Columbia, I’m now nestled in the salt marshes of Nova Scotia, on the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq Nation.With a background in Visual Communication Design from Capilano University, I thrive on transforming ideas into thoughtful, visually compelling work—whether through custom illustration, brand identities, or product photography. My creativity is fueled by nature, storytelling, and the connections we build through design.When I’m not working on a project, you can find me exploring hiking trails, knitting yet another hat, or baking something delicious.
