In 2024, I joined MONTECRISTO Magazine as Digital Editor. In this role, I write, assign, and edit web features on diverse topics including food, fashion, arts, and more.I have written about arts, culture, politics, and more for VICE, Xtra, Paste Magazine, Fashion, The Tyee, Canadian Cinematographer, Senses of Cinema, and others. My first book, a monograph on the 2005 cult film Serenity, was published by Columbia University Press in 2017. More recently, I wrote a book about the 2009 film Jennifer's Body as part of ECW Press' Pop Classics series, published in 2021.
