Creativity - Connection - Expression - Knowledge - Truth I'm a passionate, curious, creative person who currently holds the position of Digital Content Manager at WLOX News in Biloxi, Mississippi. Part of what brought me to a role in news is my inquisitive nature; I love to ask questions and get to the bottom of things. Another aspect of this business I enjoy is all things digital media- video, photo, television, social media... It's a chance for me to be creative while helping my community by sharing quick, accurate, trustworthy and potentially life-changing information. At Mississippi State University, I received a degree for broadcast journalism and public relations. My PR side shines when it comes to creating content with local businesses, managing social media, developing growth plans and elevating my photography and videography services. As a musician and songwriter myself, I am also interested in the music industry, music business and the legal side of creating art. You could say I love the behind-the-scenes of news and music as much as I love being in front of a camera or performing on stage. Following the journey, growth and branding of smaller artists is something I'm passionate about, as well as learning more about the laws that ensure the protection of creative expression and the press. Media, entertainment, and intellectual property law are all emerging interests of mine as I grow to understand their importance in my field of work. Let's connect and create!
