Claim your profileI am a BBC journalist, digital producer, and international Emmy nominee. I specialize in news reports, feature writing, documentary filmmaking, TV, and digital content creation. I also produce podcasts for BBC Trending, the Fifth Floor, and BBC Focus on Africa. With a career spanning over a decade, my work has not only shone on the BBC but has been featured on prestigious international platforms such as UOL Notícias, G1, MSN Malaysia, MSN Philippines, MSN Singapore, Terra, Yahoo Canada, Yahoo News, Estado De Minas, Yahoo Sports Canada, Yahoo Style Canada, El Imparcial, Africa Focus News, and many more.I am passionate about impactful storytelling and committed to delivering excellence. My feature stories have been read by millions and I've produced 3-4 minute long digital video stories that have gone viral. As BBC Journalist, I work from Accra by supplying timely rich, authoritative coverage of current affairs and digital video output for Ghana’s youthful audience, West African and the our global audiences.I form part of the BBC’s talented multimedia journalists in Africa working to expand the BBCs growth agenda with digital content. Before joining the BBC, I worked in radio as a journalist for Joy FM in Ghana and was instrumental in the coverage of the 2016 General Elections where I was singled out for praise by former Electoral Commission boss, Charlotte Osei who described me as the ‘epitome of an outstanding journalist.’I have vast experience in media dating to year 2009 where I started off as a runner with Metro TV, evolved into a Reporter, News Anchor and later as Producer for current affairs flagship tv show, Good Evening Ghana.Occasionally I manage a simulated blogosphere of pan-regional politics and its socio-economic development impact in Africa. My career pursuit is based on the premise of addressing social problems, affording transformation and offering alternatives for development. However I find myself constantly mutating around media and academia - to continue in pursuits of excellence as a Journalist or join the ranks of scholars in Political Science. In the wake of such enormous pressure on Africa in the global economy, I have a strong commitment and confidence in its human and economic potential. Ultimately, I think of myself as a Modern African Thinker in pursuit of the realisation of his fullest potentials.
