Claim your profileI'm a science writer.I work at New Jersey Institute of Technology covering their colleges of computing, management, and more. NJIT is a public polytechnic university in Newark, N.J. I excel at translating very technical subjects into plain English. The more complex the topic, the more I enjoy the challenge.I'm also a historian of computing. I led MARCH/Vintage Computer Federation from inception through 15 years of constant growth; I wrote the 2015 book "Abacus to smartphone: The evolution of mobile and portable computers"; and participate in organizations such as the Society for the History of Technology. I also operate a Lego robotics website called Minds Before The Storm.
