Claim your profileI have been working as a journalist and editor for the past 30 years, and so for a variety of French newspapers, magazines, and radio shows, specializing in business, foreign affairs and terrorism. From 2001 to 2007, I was the Senior Correspondent in New York for French newspaper Le Monde. Back in Paris, I became the Business Editor for Le Monde, before launching the French version of Slate Magazine. Originally planned in partnership with Le Monde (since the original Slate at the time belonged to the Washington Post Group), Slate France, as it became known, was launched without a parent organization. I directed it from 2009 to 2017, launching Slate Afrique as well in 2011. In 2017, the Rothschild family took control of Slate France, and I left the company.Since then, I have been working on a book (out in September 2018, by Éditions Eyrolles), and am in the process of bringing several projects, 'niche' magazines and media websites based in France and Africa, to fruition. I am also an international media advisor in Paris, bringing my lifelong multicultural communication experience to individuals and companies, helping them fix, set, or manage their external digital development policies.
