Claim your profileOriginally from South Florida, Eric is a national security reporter at POLITICO and the co-author of POLITICO’s “National Security Daily” newsletter. He joined POLITICO as a 2023-2024 Fellow. Before, he worked for The Wall Street Journal as a politics reporting intern, covering Congress and national politics. Eric also worked at NBC News as an intern for Meet the Press and was the Summer 2022 Burton C. Gray Memorial Editorial Intern at Reason, the libertarian magazine dedicated to free markets and free minds. He is a proud alumnus of Georgetown University, where he graduated cum laude from the School of Foreign Service with a focus on African and Latin American Studies. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies at Georgetown University, focusing on the intersection of governance and democracy challenges in the region.
