I'm a seasoned journalist, editor, manager and team leader with over 15 years of experience in the media industry. Aside from a brief spell in print media, the vast majority of my career has been in online journalism, working across the fields of finance, technology and breaking news (UK and international). My focus in recent years has very much been the development and implementation of digital-first strategies, ensuring LinkedIn News achieves audience growth and engagement while also maintaining strong editorial standards. I've managed teams of journalists across the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Africa and the Middle East, overseeing daily operations across these markets while collaborating closely with my management counterparts in other geos, including India, Australia, Brazil and the US.In my current role as Managing Editor for the UK and Pan-Europe, I manage a team comprising daily news editors, segment editors and community managers. Our focus is to deliver a suite of quality editorial content to LinkedIn members across the UK and wider Europe, experimenting with different formats and distribution methods. We also work to boost audience growth and member engagement, sharing content best-practices and supporting creators to ensure they get the most out of LinkedIn.
