Emily Haws is someone who loves politics, and she'll explain it in a way that ensures you do too -- or at least understand it.She's worked at top political news outlets in the country, including the CBC's Power & Politics with Vassy Kapelos and The Hill Times, and had plenty of exclusives along the way. As a multi-platform reporter for CBC North, she mainly covered the municipal, territorial and federal governments, and how they interact with each other.She currently works as a producer for CPAC, supporting hosts and helping Canadians more easily access their democracy via long-form content. Her boss once called her the "Queen of the Coffee" -- she's always interested in networking or picking people's brains over a beverage, hot or cold. When not working, she can be found reading, baking, and attempting to maintain a gym habit.
