As a writer and journalist, I tell stories about people I meet and things I learn. Most recently, I've done community journalism, connecting people with their communities. My years with, first, my02818, then Patch taught me the power of local journalism and impelled me to continue that work with East Greenwich News, which I launched in April 2014. Earlier, first at several New York magazines then at the Providence Journal, I worked as a copy editor, learning the importance of careful reading and fact-checking. I work well under pressure. I love the immediacy of news and the opportunity to get answers.
