Claim your profileI decode the world. Which, in plain speak, means I try to connect as many dots as I can, as best I can. As a Senior Foreign Affairs Commentator for France 24, my remit is to demystify the biggest global stories, for millions of viewers - live and unscripted, and often at a moment's notice. For 25+ years, I’ve reported from Moscow, London, New York, and Paris, covering G7/G20 summits, U.S. elections, EU politics, and international conflicts, interviewing leading public figures and newsmakers along the way. Beyond the newsroom, I train journalists on how to detect and debunk misinformation and disinformation via week-long fact-checking seminars. I’ve lectured at Sciences Po, the Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas and the Institut de Journalisme Bordeaux Aquitaine (IJBA). For France 24's teaching Academy, I've delivered media training to TV talk-show hosts in Uzbekistan, and advised professionals on navigating today’s fast-changing information landscape. I received a Master’s Degree in Russian Studies from Harvard University, having earlier studied at the Moscow Energy Institute. I hold US, UK and French citizenship, and am fluent in French and Russian.I regularly speak, moderate, and write on global affairs, disinformation, and media ethics. Whether it’s a keynote, a panel, or a private briefing, I bring clarity to complexity. I’m open to interesting opportunities - speaking engagements, media training, geopolitical consulting, or editorial collaborations.
