As a geospatial analyst, I have a strong investment in public safety and passionately seek out innovative methods to achieve goals. In 2017 and 2020, I was awarded the Citation for Outstanding Performance - issued by the Commonwealth and signed by the Governor - in recognition of my significant contributions to the goals of the Agency. My development of a dynamic, real-time monitoring dashboard for the Boston Marathon has been highlighted on CNBC and other media outlets, and is internationally noted as a best practice. In 2020, I was heavily involved in the COVID-19 pandemic response, using GIS to produce situational awareness products for the Governor's Command Center, Massachusetts' hospitals and the general public. This work resulted in receiving ESRI's Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) award in 2021.Outside of work, I am a private pilot and recently served for several years as Director of the New England Section of the Ninety-Nines - an international organization of women pilots. I am also a contributing editor/writer for Plane & Pilot magazine.
