From 2003 until 2013, I taught literature and composition at the university level, while also publishing and presenting at conferences all over the continent. In 2014, I began covering the Florida State sports beat, rising to the position of Editor In Chief at three different websites. My responsibilities have included writing practice and game summaries and analysis, profile features on players, interpreting breaking news, as well as statistical consideration of FSU football, baseball, and basketball. My editorial leadership roles have included recruiting and supervising other writers and interns, imparting skills concerning player and film analysis, writing, site optics, and search engine optimization.
