Dan Henning is a Senior Producer in Talk Programming at SiriusXM, the leading audio entertainment company in the US. Working on the platform’s non-partisan POTUS Channel 124, Dan is tasked with maintaining the channel’s imaging sound through producing, voicing, and updating promos and sweepers. Working with high-profile national talent, Dan is also technical producer and on-air cast member on “The Michael Smerconish Program,” plus working with “Politics Inside Out w/ Chris Frates” and “Full Stop w/ Mark Preston.” Dan is the channel’s liaison to the Talk Operations team, ensuring quality on-air broadcasting.Dan works on daily basis creating content in Adobe Audition and Dalet Galaxy (writing, voicing and producing promos and features), and maintaining the channel’s daily log in RCS Zetta. Also a passionate on-air personality in music formats, Dan worked at Washington's MIX 107.3 (WRQX), enjoying weekend work and weekday fill-ins, hosting a content-driven, listener-focused music program.Outside of his career, Dan is a volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician at the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department in Kensington, MD, where he is a Captain and the department’s Vice President for Human Resources. He also volunteers at the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department in Oxford, MD. In his free time, Dan enjoys boating, his dog, and exploring the world of craft beer.
