My primary duty centers on maintaining all visual art for various stories within the HuffPost, ensuring that each image not only complements but enhances the narrative presented by our reporters. Collaborating closely with writers and editors allows me to create illustrations and original photographs that effectively convey complex stories to our audience.Engaging in diverse photo shoots—from photojournalistic assignments to fashion shoots—has honed my ability to adapt creatively to various contexts while upholding editorial standards. Each project requires meticulous planning; I often hire photographers or lead major productions myself. The challenge of capturing compelling images that resonate with viewers invigorates my passion for visual arts.The process of creating illustrations/collages/moving illustrations with Adobe Photoshop helps convey ideas and tones to stories where traditional photos may not work.
