I am Co-founder and Director of Aesthetica Magazine Ltd. I co-founded Aesthetica in 2002 with my colleague Cherie Federico, whilst studying my Bachelors Degree at York St John University. The first issue of Aesthetica  was published in March 2003 and since then has become one of the leading British art and culture publications. Currently Aesthetica employs 9-10 full-time staff and around 30 freelance staff. The magazine has a global audience of 168,000 readers in print and digital. The publication has UK national distribution through WH Smith, all the major galleries, and is exported to 20 countries. I come from a design background and created Aesthetica with a clean, minimal look with a strong visual narrative. I love design and creativity that challenges people's perception, and I continue this design through all Aesthetica related enterprises. I am the also the Co-Founder and Director of the Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF), which is a BAFTA qualifying festival in York and screens films from over 36 countries, as well as attracting key industry from across with sector. I am also one of the film programmers for the festival.
