She is honored to lead the award winning WRAL Documentary unit producing investigative documentaries about the most important issues in NC. Cristin has created and led several investigative franchises throughout her career in large and medium television markets including Portland, Oregon; Dallas, Texas; and San Diego, California. Cristin has extensive experience in long-form, documentary-style storytelling after spending the 2019/2020 school year embedded in an elementary school in Northeast Portland through the award-winning series Inside Woodlawn. Cristin is married to anchor Dan Haggerty. They are passionate, career journalists who are blessed to do this fulfilling work together.
