I am a story editor and project manager for science and medical magazines and health-focused agencies, such as the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Institute of Medicine, and Pew Foundation. As an editor, I am skilled at strategic planning, assigning articles, editing, and design review. I also write about medicine and health for professional journals, popular magazines, government agencies, and medical institutions. During my 20+-year career, I have edited magazines filled with news and features on science, helped establish and run news sections in two peer-reviewed journals, and managed national health education programs. Other recent clients include Nature Education, Cleveland Clinic Magazine, National Cancer Institute, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
