Claim your profileIt all started in June 2010 when I graduated from Waseca High School and moved on to study meteorology at Iowa State University with hopes of becoming a broadcast meteorologist. While at Iowa State, I was an active member in the local chapter of the American Meteorological Society and the student run program Cy's Eyes on the Skies on which I served as a producer my senior year. After graduation, I worked to get a job in my degree field which proved more difficult than originally expected, so in the mean time, I worked multiple jobs in retail, banking, agriculture and food service. Finally, in November 2017, I offered a position with the Spencer Radio Group as the Meteorologist and Assistant News Director. Since taking the position, I have worked to gain experience in not only writing news and daily forecasts, but also working with severe weather within the broadcast area of now five radio station in Northwest Iowa.
