Claim your profileI hit the restart button on my life after nine years in the Air Force to become a journalist. My dream has always been to write, and when I finally settled on journalism as the path I wanted to take, I fell in love with the process of crafting stories. I'm comfortable writing in both traditional media and magazine styles, and I've written stories that covered subjects ranging from restaurant and radio station profiles to voting guides and environmental issues. While in the Air Force I worked as an air traffic controller, where I acted as both a line worker and watch supervisor. I have experience working a wide range of aircraft, including training jets, fighters, heavies, and helicopters, both military and civilian. I've worked in the U.S., South Korea, England, and Djibouti, and have experience adapting to a wide range of regulations because of that.
