Lebanese journalist.I worked extensively in news broadcasting, covering political and social developments, mostly in the MENA region.At Thomson Reuters, I cover events around the clock in a breaking news environment; I produce real-time political, energy and financial news alerts and briefs and quick updates. I work closely with bureau chiefs and reporters in the Gulf and across the wider MENA region, to break with the highest degree of accuracy news that is important for Reuters’ global audience of decision makers in the worlds of business, media and politics.Before that, I spent 7 years at Abu Dhabi’s Sky News Arabia where I led a team of producers and presenters, and 2 years before that at Beirut’s leading Annahar daily newspaper.My proudest moment in my career so far was when a story of mine led to funding a much-needed surgery for a little Syrian refugee girl.Occasionally, I’ve worked as a freelance fixer with foreign journalists, since I speak Arabic, French and English.Happy to work together – drop me a msg!
