Claim your profileI am a communications specialist, podcast producer, weather anchor and meteorologist with over 25 years of experience in broadcasting, producing and writing content on weather, climate change and solutions to the greatest threats facing Earth's natural systems. BSc honours in MathsMSc in Marine ScienceDiploma in International Environmental PolicyI produce and present weather content for Met Office, the UK's national weather service, where I share insights and stories on weather and climate science. Additionally, I am the weather anchor at Channel 5 news.I also work as a communications specialist for a leading B-Corp, Green Executives, creating and delivering industry marketing strategies that showcase innovation and leadership for a sustainable future.I am currently working with OFGEM and Bengo Media on an energy series. I support the UN International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as a communicator, providing climate change expertise, filming locations and remote projects, and representing IFAD at climate change conferences. As a published author, I have written several books on weather and climate, including What Does Rain Smell Like?, a popular science book that answers fascinating questions about the atmosphere, and Cloud Academy, a series of children's books that introduce young readers to the wonders of clouds. I am a patron of Word Forest Organisation, a charity that plants trees and builds classrooms in Kenya. I am passionate about raising awareness and inspiring action on environmental issues, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse and talented teams to achieve this goal.Recently became patron of the National Womens Register, NWR.
