Claim your profileHi there! I work as a freelance journalist and fashion editor for weekly lifestyle magazine Flair. As a fashion editor for Flair, I report on fashion news and supervise editorial shoots. From 2015 to 2021, I chronicled my personal adventures and opinions in a weekly column, which appeared both in print and on www.flair.be. My past professional experience includes contributions to GLAM*IT, Nieuwsblad.be, Marie Claire 2, De Standaard Magazine, Material Girl, Flanders Today and Vice Magazine. I have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Literature: English-Latin and Master's degrees in Comparative Modern Literature from Ghent University and Journalism from Lessius University College (now Thomas More). I graduated magna cum laude. In my Master's dissertations, I studied the portrayal of the 1960s in Hunter Thompson's Gonzo Journalism and the relation between his writing and the concept of genre, respectively. I combine working for Flair with freelance writing for other publications, both in Dutch and English.
