As a writer and editor with over 25 years of experience in the newspaper industry, I have developed a versatile and adaptable skill set that allows me to cover a variety of topics, including government, education, food, health, entertainment and lifestyles. I am passionate about creating and delivering high-quality content that informs, entertains, and engages readers across different platforms and mediums.Currently, I work as a freelance writer and editor, open to full-time, freelance or contract work in communications. Previously, I was the Assistant Managing Editor for News at The Spokesman-Review, where I supervised reporters, planned and edited local content, and curated the paper's Summer Stories series. I also have extensive project management experience, having turned the 2020 Summer Stories series into a book and written grants for the newsroom.
