With over 16 years of experience in journalism and public opinion research, I am a lead analyst for U.S. politics at Morning Consult, a global data intelligence company that delivers insights on what people think in real time. I am passionate about using data to inform and engage audiences on the most pressing political issues of our time, from elections and policy agendas to social movements and public sentiment. I bring a diverse perspective and a keen eye for storytelling to my role, where I write data-driven content and analysis for readers, subscribers and clients.As a lead analyst, I design survey experiments to gauge public opinion, leveraging high-frequency tracking data from Morning Consult's proprietary platform. I also provide political expertise to prospective and current clients, helping them understand and navigate the complex and dynamic political landscape. In addition, I serve as an external expert on U.S. politics, representing Morning Consult at events and in the media. I have developed and honed skills in writing, audience building, project management, content management systems and social media promotion throughout my career. Prior to becoming a lead analyst, I led U.S. and global political coverage in Morning Consult's nonpartisan newsroom, specializing in voter sentiment and elite messaging. I trained the newsroom on best practices for using public opinion research to examine pressing topics at the intersection of politics, policy, Wall Street and brands.
