As the Urban Music Director and Hip Hop Coordinator at 90.7FM KBOO, Brenboy has built a network of DJ's, radio stations, podcast hosts, and music promoters. His mission is to build and execute marketing campaigns that help artists promote their new projects and grow their brand. Brenboy dedicated himself to building a network by partnering with affiliates and distribution companies to maximize reach for artists, including the new tech company and networking app for creatives called Inadot.In 2016, Brenboy launched Rip City Basement, bridging the gap between Hip Hop fanatics' demand to hear technique, and Portland's electronic obsession. Rip City Basement is a radio show and podcast featuring local and traveling artists in the Pacific Northwest. Every month in Portland, Rip City Basement presents a monthly showcase featuring rising talent in the PNW, with a heavy focus on Hip Hop and Rap. From hosting live shows, to organizing community meet ups and gaining local sponsorships, Brenboy is a staple in the PNW music scene and has one of the most influential music promotion companies in the state of Oregon.
