I am currently the Weekend Meteorologist at KXII-TV in Sherman, TX (a Gray TV station).I recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Meteorology in May 2022. I spent three years pursuing this degree so that I could combine my skills in the newsroom to be an on air meteorologist.For the past 10 years, I have produced/hosted/edited an all vinyl radio show called Yr Welcome on The Spy and KOSU. I have created more than 500 episodes.Most of my past experience involves Broadcast Journalism. From 2007 to 2017 I worked in three different newsrooms between Oklahoma City and Denver. I was generally a video editor and learned to edit on Avid, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Edius and even Beta tape to tape. I've easily logged more than 10,000 hours of editing experience in this time.I'm hoping to grow as an on-air meteorologist learning from my peers at KXII.
