I started my career in political journalism as the BBC Millbank trainee where I created content for different platforms- including digital and regional radio. I created viral explainers for younger audiences that broke down complicated issues as Parliamentary voting and the Government Furlough scheme. The content I created did well on the BBC website and BBC social platforms often being the "most watched"- I then joined BBC Newsnight as a producer where I pitched and produced interviews with big names like Emily Ratajkowski, Krept and Konan, Gina Martin and a host of other international and political guests. I am currently at Sky News working as a producer on the Beth Rigby Interviews programme. It is important to me to use my skillset to cater to audiences who are often underserved within the mainstream. With the rise of social media I enjoy connecting and serving these audiences by following what is trending and what are the key discussion points happening amongst my peers online.I like to look at ways to offer solution based journalistic content for an audience that often switches off from the mainstream media.
