Dynamic Editor-in-Chief and Head of Communication with over a decade of experience in editorial leadership, cybersecurity journalism, and strategic content management. Augustin Kurian is the Editor In Chief of The Cyber Express, an information security publication catering to an audience encompassing CISOs, CXOs, network engineers, technology enthusiasts, security professionals, and students. In his role, he leads the publication, the editorial division, events and conferences, and promotes establishing best cybersecurity practices. In his previous stint, he was the head of Cyber Reports at Alliant Cybersecurity, an infosec subsidiary of the alliantgroup. In his role he is responsible for producing content, preparing the content strategies for the division, and ensuring all the editorial guidelines and policies are met. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Editor at CISO MAG, an infosec magazine and a subsidiary of EC-Council. In CISO MAG he specialized in news, cybersecurity analysis, and interviewed eminent personalities in the cybersecurity space. Augustin was formerly the city editor of The Hans India, an English newspaper based in Hyderabad, India, for more than four years, where he specialized in technology columns, feature stories, automotive journalism, news reporting, startup stories, and business reporting. He also worked in You & I, a premium lifestyle magazine circulated pan India, where he wrote cover stories, technology columns, weekly news updates, and automotive reviews. He was also the consultant editor for Voice of Delhi. Apart from these, he has also helmed the content management department at VoIP and cloud-telephony solutions provider, Striker Soft Solutions.
