A trailblazer in the industry, Ashley has won awards at every news station where she has held an instrumental role—cementing her reputation as a newsroom innovator.Before stepping into her current position, Ashley excelled as an Executive Producer at WFAA in Dallas, TX, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the morning newscast daily by making key editorial decisions, collaborating with her team and driving audience growth through strategic marketing and research initiatives. There she made an impact with the series "Rooted" - celebrating black hair and bringing awareness to the CROWN act.Prior to that role, Ashley surpassed expectations as a Senior Producer in Atlanta, where she was instrumental in launching Morning Rush, a groundbreaking news program that garnered two EMMY awards for its innovative approach to traditional morning news.A proud graduate of Howard University with a BA in Journalism, Ashley launched her career as a college associate at Fox News Network in Washington, D.C. She then transitioned to local news in Jacksonville as a video editor, where she rapidly evolved into the influential leader she is today. Ashley’s leadership transcends the newsroom.
