I think newsletters should be as delightful as they are useful, and that the best newsletters offer something a reader can't get just by looking at your homepage. Before I jumped into national media, I spent about a decade in local journalism. I got my start in newspapers, at the Colorado Daily and the Denver Post. Later, I became the second editor of the award-winning startup Denverite and the first-ever digital news editor at New Orleans Public Radio. Both of those were "many hats" jobs that required me to be an editor, writer, digital strategist, social media manager, project manager, newsroom leader, fundraiser and more.Off the clock, you can find my writing in Antigravity Magazine and my baby Substack newsletter, "let me tell you."
