Claim your profileI currently work at CNBC International as a producer, on our two newly launched shows, Inside India, and Access Middle East. My sole, unwavering mission in this role is to secure the most influential, high-profile marquee guests, individuals who don’t just participate in the news cycle but define it. Every interview is a statement, every guest a force that shapes the narrative of the day. It’s about setting the agenda, commanding the conversation, and ensuring that when the world watches, they watch US.In my previous role at YourStory Media, India's leading startup-tech publication, I led coverage for the mobility/EV, climate tech and sustainability, and venture capital sectors. I chased scoops, trends and broke exclusives and trained younger reporters. Before YourStory, I built Entrepreneur Magazine's Asia Pacific edition. I hired and trained reporters, defined and set the edition's editorial focus, interviewed some of the biggest VCs and startup founders in Asia Pacific, organised startup-tech events, created social media strategies and Twitter storms to promote reporters and stories, and redesigned the website.I also took part in several global leadership training workshops held by Harvard Business School alumni in Mumbai and Japan.I began my reporting career at Reuters India, where I spent five years, working across geographies including Asia, Europe and the US. I started as a business correspondent in the Asia team where I wrote about stock and currency markets, as well as high-performing, valuable companies and investors. From there, I moved to the US reporting team as a Sector Specialist in the finance team. In the US finance team, I broke news about the biggest Wall Street banks, including Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, BofA, and Morgan Stanley, as well as global insurance companies such as Metlife. Marrying my love for storytelling with breaking news, I wrote several stories on how banking shapes new social emergents, such as the marijuana industry or cryptocurrency. My heart beats for storytelling that informs, inspires, and grabs hold of the audience's attention, but I'm not just a wordsmith -- I've got some serious public speaking chops and I love being on the stage, asking difficult questions to get to the core of issues. At YourStory's TechSparks events--the biggest startup event in India--I led discussions with the industry's biggest and most intelligent mavericks on the stage. My ultimate cosmic quest is to snag no-holds-barred interviews with Masayoshi San, Hayao Miyazaki, Banana Yoshimoto, and I'm running out of words.
