Across 15 years in journalism and digital publishing, I have covered sports, film, culture, and science and have won state and national awards for my editing, feature writing, and design work. I am a detail-oriented self-starter, as comfortable working on my own with little direction as I am collaborating with others on a shared goal. I thrive on deadline and in fast-paced, high-stakes environments in which minutes matter but never at the expense of quality. Having been both a writer and an editor, I take direction well and have learned to delegate and prioritize while remaining focused on a given task. My guiding principle is to find a way to say yes, and if there is a task to do, I search for ways to accomplish it with efficiency and alacrity.
