Claim your profileAnne-Marie Tomchak is a digital executive with 20 years experience working at the top of news, technology and fashion media. Currently the Digital Editorial Director for the Daily Mirror, Anne-Marie has led high performing teams at British Vogue and Mashable and has a track record of editorial innovation and growth. Throughout her impressive career Anne-Marie has worked with the world’s most internationally recognised brands and media titles including: Microsoft, Snapchat, Apple, Harvey Nichols, BMW, Salesforce, Ralph Lauren, Jimmy Choo, One Young World, the International Rescue Committee, TIME, The Independent, among many others. An accomplished multi platform journalist and editor, Anne-Marie spent over a decade in news media with RTE in Dublin and the BBC in London where she launched the social media investigative unit BBC Trending. She has made TV documentaries for Ireland's public service broadcaster about artificial intelligence and data privacy, the most recent "Game Changer: AI and You" was broadcast on RTE One in November 2023 and is currently on the RTE Player. Her documentary work on digital wellbeing has been added to the Irish curriculum as a learning resource for students and teachers in the Junior Cycle (GCSE). During the pandemic, Anne-Marie set up her own communications and tech consultancy. She founded DesignTracker (which helps people decarbonise their homes) and ShareJoy (which sells pre-loved fashion to support mental health charities). In 2022 she was selected by Cambridge University as one of their Women In Sustainability Innovation. She was also a contributing editor for the Condé Nast title Glamour UK and a columnist for Ireland’s most read daily newspaper The Irish Independent. An advocate for diversity and inclusion, Anne-Marie mentors journalists on schemes with the Second Source and WABJ (We Are Black Journalists) and she is on the European Leadership Council for the humanitarian organisation Mercy Corps. A classically trained violinist, Anne-Marie enjoys yoga and sharing a meal with family and friends in her spare time.
