There, she oversaw the creation of original projects through reporting, writing scripts, managing shoots and edits, and creating interactive packages for the web. She is skilled at shooting and editing video, and won several awards in television, including a New York Emmy. Ann started her career as a newspaper reporter. From 2004 to 2013, she covered courts and legal issues for Newsday, one of the country's largest daily newspapers. There, she won numerous awards using strong sources, powerful writing and investigative skills. She also spent time covering New York City Hall, the statehouse, and editing stories on the news desk.
